The Avery Dennison Mark III Tagging Gun: The Ultimate Tool for Retail and Merchandising

When it comes to tagging merchandise with a price tag then using a plastic tag pin ( also known as Kimble tags or Kimble pins) to attach your label is the stock standard method. This method is the most efficient and secure method of labelling clothing and has been used throughout the world for more than 50 years.
Avery Dennison have been leaders in the field of labelling for many decades and its no surprise a high quality range of tag guns, tag pins and spare needles.

Tag pins are made from either PP polypropylene plastic or nylon (to provide strength to extra thin/ fine fabric tag pins). Standard thickness tag pins are the most commonly used type of tag pin used by clothing manufacturers and retailers throughout the world and these are almost always made from PP plastic.

Standard thickness tag pins are available in varying sizes ranging from 20mm to 65mm and require a standard type tag gun to apply or “shoot’ them into the clothing item. There are many different brands of tag guns and different qualities, but we highly recommend the Avery Dennison MarkIII tag gun. Check out our review here .

If you’re a clothing store, a charity shop, or a fashion brand start-up you’ll want to label your clothing like all the major retailers do. Tagging with tag pins is an efficient and inexpensive way to provide a professional finish to your merchandise.
