Using a heat sealer with a trimmer blade is a great way to quickly and easily cut excess plastic or tubing plastic. First, place the plastic or tubing between the sealing bars of the heat sealer and press down to create a seal. Then, slide the trimmer blade along the excess plastic or tubing plastic, pressing down slightly as you go to ensure a clean cut. The heat from the sealing bars will melt the plastic as the trimmer blade cuts through it, creating a smooth, clean edge.
